A downloadable game

Transhuman Frames is a quick and immediate skirmish game that pitches two squads of giant robots in adrenaline-pumping missions!

The game features:

  • Compact ruleset:  describing rules, mech creation and mission generation on just one page!
  • Compact game: requires only 3 miniatures or HG gunpla models per player, some terrain and a 3'x3' board (can be downscaled to be played with smaller miniatures)
  • Customizable Mechs: your mechs are simple but can mount a selection of around 19 modules + weapons, enabling very different tactics and playstiles.
  • Reactor mechanic: push your systems (and your luck) to boost your actions but beware: the bigger the Mech the bigger the risk of OVERHEATING.
  • No Hitpoints: every hit goes to your modules. Place them carefully or your options will get smaller as the battle rages!

Influences

Transhuman Frames has been inspired  by Chris McDowall’s MAC Attack, Absolute Tabletop’s The Mecha Hack, Ash Barker’s Gamma Wolves  and other excellent wargames of the genre.

Notes

As always the rules will see some small tweaks and balances.  The current version is perfectly playable and has provided some fun afternoons with friends.

Feel free to try it and possibly give me a feedback: any comment or idea  is welcome and will help provide a better experience for me and other potential players.
